IKEA Smart Home (Tradfri), add-on

You can control your Tradfri plugs and lights faster. You don’t need to open the app or unlock your phone. You can choose from more lights to turn on when you get home, or set a delay for all lights switching off.

You cannot unlock:

You can add up to nine scenes to your quick settings (like a flashlight).

Quick settings allow you to toggle between all on/off, and delay (1-30 minutes).

Select lights automatically turn on when the phone is connected to Wi-Fi

Fast control is possible with a notification screen that can be disabled.

You can turn your screen on by shaking (adjustable). This will switch on/off all the selected devices

Additional features in the app

You can use your fingerprint to control certain devices. It’s very nice.

RGB (full-color) control — more colors than the official App!

Although the app can connect to Tradfri’s gateway via Wi-Fi, it cannot be used to control other devices. You can select which devices react to different controls (lockscreen/shake/fingerprint/scenes/automatic). This was developed by one passionate developer. It is constantly being improved!

For initial configuration and setup, the official app will still be required.
