Auriea Harvey, Michael Samyn and Michael Samyn created The Graveyard. It is an extremely short computer game. The role of an elderly lady visiting a cemetery is yours. The song is played as you walk and sit down on a bench. This is more of an explorationable painting than a game. It’s an experiment in realtime poetry and storytelling that doesn’t require words.
The Graveyard full-featured version adds one new feature, the death possibility. You can play the full game just like the trial, but she could die every time.
Music by Gerry Demol, with English subtitles. Animations by Laura Raines Smith. Sound effects by Kris Force.
