Stockpile, an economic board game, combines traditional stockholding strategies of sell low and buy high to produce a dynamic engaging and interactive environment.

Stockpile lets players play the role of stock market investors in the last century, hoping to make it big. The winner is the one with the most money. Stockpile is based on the belief that everyone knows something about the stock markets, but nobody can know everything. This philosophy is expressed in Stockpile through insider information as well as the stockpile.

These mechanisms can be combined with stock market elements so that players have to consider many factors when selling stock. Are you looking to catch a profitable stock split? Or do you want to sell your stock now in order not be sued by the company. Do you want to hold on to your stock and become majority shareholder? Or do you require liquidity for future bids? Are you willing to take on all the risk of investing in one company, or can you diversify your portfolio and reduce your risks?

Stockpile's first expansion contains four modules. These expansions can either be used individually or all at once for more strategic play.

Module 1: Forecast dice -- Six custom dice add excitement to the game by changing round-to-round market forecasts. The round begins with the roll of the dice. You can make the market rise or fall at any time. The dice ensure that there will never be two identical games.

Module 2 -- Bonds are a safe and new investment choice for players. You can get a steady flow of interest payments by purchasing bonds. It comes with a cost. You cannot recover the original amount you used to buy bonds until the end. Don't overspend, or you could lose valuable stocks.

Module 3: Commodities & Taxes -- Commodities & taxes create tension throughout the game. Players add Commodities and Taxes each round to their stockpiles. To earn significant bonuses at the end of each round, collect different commodities and avoid taxes.

Module 4: Additional Investors -- Stockpile - Continuing Corruption brings six investors to the table who heard of huge profits and want to be part. Every investor has a different ability which opens the door to more opportunities for winning.
