Reorder gallery after copy Mod Apk: Android doesn't retain original date of creation when you copy files. Except for videos and photos, this doesn't usually matter as it can cause serious problems in the gallery.

Permissions

Only the necessary permissions are required for this application.

It must also be capable of reading and writing (for Exif files and date file) to the SD card and internal storage. Before Android 10 the permission used is WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE and from Android 10 MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE. If you want to change the file's date, this permission is required. Otherwise the gallery will not fix itself.

All types of videos and images can be processed by the application. MediaStore databases are fixed to ensure that videos and images display properly in the gallery. The application doesn't touch any files, and in particular the images.

This app allows you to repair your gallery with all kinds of photos and videos.

It is possible to store the date as EXIF data in certain formats. Android can read these data, but it cannot write them for JPG DNG WebP files. As it speeds up processing, this option should be enabled from the menu.

It is not yet possible to modify the file date in these Android versions.

Android 8 (Oreo), and Android 9 (Pie).

Finally, it seems that changing the file date works. These versions allow you to change the file's date! You must activate this option in the menu.
