In three easy steps, batch rename files
1 Choose Input Files
To select files that you wish to rename, use the app’s file browser.
2 Choose the rename configuration.
Use the features to create your configurations.
3 View a preview and then start.

Two steps are required to create your own rename configuration.
1. Choose the name format.
There are many units that you can choose from to help build your new name. You can customize these units and place them in any order that you like.
Original Title Adds filename. This is where you start with every configuration.
Parents Name Adds parent name to the file and’s.
Indexing Adds an automatic-incremented index. Options: start step zero padding.
Text– Adds custom content
Date & Time Adds the last modified date & time to the file. You can modify the format to your liking.
EXIFData – This extracts EXIF information from images and then adds it as a file name.
Audio metadata Extracts audio metadata and then adds it as a file name.
Random – Adds random generated text options: character type and length.
2. Modifiers (optional ).</b)
You can modify the name format after you have built it.
Modify Case– This changes the name to lower, upper sentences or camel cases.
Extension– Modifies or deletes an extension.
Insert character at position– Adds characters/words to the specified location
Remove characters – The name will be removed of the selected words/characters.
Multiple characters removed This allows you to remove multiple words/characters separated by a comma from your name.
Removing characters using type — Removes any numbers, letters or other non-numbers.
Remove characters in position — Removes a selected number of characters from the position.
Removing characters using regex — Removes characters that are matched with a regular expression.
Replace characters — Replace all instances of the target text with the desired one.
Replace the characters with regex. – This replaces any occurrences in the target text.
3. Take a look at the sample in action.
A live sample is available at all times. It’s updated each time you change the configuration.
