Getting started

Your phones camera and the lighting source you use to backlight the negatives will determine the quality of the scans.

1. You will need a way to lighten your film.

You can use a tablet or laptop with a white display for a quick fix. The brightness setting should be at maximum. A light table can provide even better results.

2. Take photos

The app allows you to scan negatives and quickly convert them. Import photos from negatives youve taken with a DSLR or flatbed scanner.

3. Please share your stories.

All thats left is to enjoy your photos and share them with family and friends.

Additional features

For the best photo, adjust the temperature manually if the image is tinted blue or red.

* The Photo Negative Scanner can scan both color and black/white negatives. To toggle between black/white and color modes, simply press the button for black or white within the scanner interface.

* You can use the lightbox feature of a second smartphone as a source of light to develop your film negatives.
