Partia 2 (a Strategy RPG video game) is a SRPG. It was inspired by 16-bit console SRPGs. The game is set in a fantasy world and will lead players on an epic adventure that sees magic, swords collide as well as friendship and betrayal. This game features 22 stages, which could pose challenges for any SRPG enthusiast.
Partia 2 offers many new features, including Common Turn Rule. This allows all factions to make their moves alternately (like Chess), instead of having each player move his/her unit individually. If a player decides to use this feature, it will add a unique element to the game. You can toggle it in intermission, or you can continue to play in the turn-based manner. AI has improved and horses can now attack if there are still move distances.
Unfortunately, the game was unable to deliver large-scale animation battles. You may have felt that the Partia 1 game was too ugly. This game has much larger and more attractive character portraits.
If you don’t enjoy Partia 1, you can refrain from buying this game. It will still be an enjoyable experience, and more difficult if you enjoyed the original Partia.
