You can schedule off time to reduce power usage and if you do not want to receive work emails 24/7. The app won't check email for new messages or updated Calendar events during the time period you have set, for example 6PM to 7AM. This applies to notifications only. You can launch the app manually to check your email.

If your OWA restricts access to mobile browser, you can use desktop browser mode

For regular Office 365 with Exchange use web address: https://outlook.office365.com/owa

Use this web address to log in to Office 365 via ADFS
