International travelers can save money by purchasing local SIM cards at their destination. This app has a local database that contains over 1300 APN codes from carriers around the world. Important Note:

Please email me the screen settings from the first screen if you discover a SIM without an APN. We can then work together to find the right settings. Although I want the APN list as comprehensive as possible, I need your help. You can check the APN database with the free version.

This app was created for me to use on my travels. I do not want to purchase a SIM that I cannot access the settings.

What is the best way to save money with this app?

International roaming fees are often outrageously high priced by most cell phone providers. International roaming charges can be avoided by buying a SIM card local to your country. You can purchase one in many countries for as low as $10

This is different from rooting. Your carrier can give you the unlock code for your phone and how to use it. This can usually be done over the phone by your service provider.

A local SIM card will provide you with a local number. The SIM card purchased must include data. To get an internet connection, the APN settings of the provider are required. If you don't speak the language, it can make this difficult.

The app has a large database of APN settings that can be used with SIM cards. Start the app, and then search for your SIM's APN settings. These settings can be added automatically, or copied and pasted in case you are using Ice Cream Sandwich.

PROFESSIONAL SPORT:

Professional version now allows rooted phones to directly add settings to the database. The professional version shows the SIM number, if it is available. It also allows you to search the APN database country by country. This allows people to verify which APN strings are included in the system prior to traveling to another destination.

APPLICATION LIMITATIONS:

The application won't give you a signal to your mobile phone where you don't normally get it.

The app cannot unlock your phone. I ask you to stop emailing me for unlock codes. 🙂
