Next Chess Move Apk (NCM) brings professional-level chess calculation to Android. It’s more than a way to play – it’s a tool built for deep analysis, powered by engines trusted by tournament players.

From the moment you open the app, you can set up any board position and get instant suggestions from Stockfish 17 running locally on your device. The app also offers access to an impressive lineup of additional engines, including Lc0, Arasan, Cfish, Ethereal, RubiChess, and many others. This variety allows you to test different playing styles and compare evaluations side by side.

Engine Power That Adapts to You

Next Chess Move Mod Apk is designed for flexibility. You can work completely offline with Stockfish, or connect to NCM’s servers to use other engines on dedicated hardware. The setup is quick – drag pieces into place, choose your preferred engine, and start calculating.

For players who need maximum computing strength, the Pro upgrade unlocks:

  • Calculations on AMD Ryzen 7950X 16-core servers
  • RTX 2080 GPU acceleration for neural-network engines like LcZero
  • Access to 6-piece Syzygy tablebases for perfect endgame play

A Practical Tool for Serious Improvement

You won’t find glossy animations or gamey distractions here. Next Chess Move is built for one thing: giving you clear, accurate insight into any position you set up. It’s the kind of app you open when you want straight answers from some of the strongest chess engines available.

From early opening ideas to the last moves of a tight endgame, the app keeps the process simple – pick your position, choose an engine, and watch the calculations unfold. On Android, it feels less like an app and more like carrying a compact but powerful analysis board in your pocket.

I’ve been using Next Chess Move for a while now, and the engine is seriously impressive—especially when you switch to the dev build. What puzzles me, though, is that the free website version feels almost just as strong, even with less thinking time. In fact, when I run the dev build on the website, it actually seems stronger than the app. Not sure why, but it’s a bit odd.

That said, there are a few tweaks that could make the app even better for me:

  1. Let us customize the board and pieces so it feels more personal.
  2. Give an option to shrink the board size by default, or at least have a setting for it—this would make split-screen mode way more practical.
  3. Add more engine choices to keep things interesting.
