EXPLORE MUTANT THRU INTUITIVE TOUCH CONTROL
Seven instruments are used to create the musical environment: String Drums, Percussion, Synth Bass Arp and String Drums. Each interaction is recorded and looped.
There are 4 controllers on each instrument that control the rhythmic impulses, pitch curves, timing envelopes, echo and distortion effects.
Multiperspective: VARY YOUR SOUND
You can switch between eight variations of the current composition by turning the Hypercube. You can choose between different chord speeds and pitches. Each cube can be combined with a different acoustic environment.
CREATE A RECORD and SHARE
The microphone input allows you to sample your voice. You can choose from one of the many samples available or create your own.
Snapshots can be used to save your current state, and you can quickly return to it. All Snapshots can be saved to a session file that you can share with Mutant users.
You can convert the stereo audio from the main channel into a stereo wav file for music and other art productions.
COLLABORATIVE, EXPERIMENT AND JAM TOGETHER
You can create music by using a different approach once you are connected to the Collab Mode. The current session can be synced with other Mutant devices. This is how a session can be shared during the creation process. .
Log in to the same Wifi activ Collab and you can start creating sound on all platforms.
BLUETOOTH & ABLETON LINK
Mutant supports playback via Bluetooth devices. Ableton Link is a music app that can sync with Mutant.
INSTALLATION ON IOS 11 AND12 WITH 1GB RAM
Mutant can be run on these old devices. We also increase the compatibility downwards. However, the maximum lantency is not allowed.

Stephan Kloss has been developing the apps since 2011. They combine technology and music in an artistic practice.
