A detailed overview

Disable all connections automatically

LeanDroid will automatically deactivate Wi-Fi cell data*, cellular radios* bluetooth and location* (networks or GPS). You can switch between cellular networks* (ex. It can also switch between 4G and 2G cellular networks. This will happen after your screen has turned off. It saves battery and reduces data use when you're not using the phone.

Interval between disable

Premium: Sets how long it takes for the screen to turn off after which time the screen will remain turned on before disconnecting connections.

Connectivity restored

When the screen turns back on, or is unlocked, connections are restored automatically. To allow push notifications or background sync, you can also restore connections frequently while your screen is not in use. Re-enable only connections which were disabled automatically by LeanDroid. Manually disabled connections are not restored.

Sync interval

You can set how frequently the connection is restored while the screen's off (premium).

After waiting for Wi-Fi connectivity to occur, restore data

Before re-enabling mobile data, wait for WiFi to reconnect. This will prevent data from reconnecting after a few seconds.

Remove exceptions

There are many options to prevent connection disconnection. All connections can be disabled by using the options under the All toggles section. Specific toggles options will disable the connections only. If an exception is discovered, LD will verify again after another time period has passed.

If you are using these apps, disable it

If one of the chosen apps is running in the background or has foreground service, no connections will be disabled. You can also use the sub-options to detect background services.

If active, disable Wi-Fi/Data/Network type

If there are data transfers, then the connections will not be disabled. Data connections that exceed the selected value will not be disabled if they are exceedingly slow. This is to ensure data sensitive tasks do not get interrupted. Many music apps do not stream continuously but rather download whole songs simultaneously. This may happen before LD checks data transfers. You might also need to look at the exception if you use these apps feature.

Disable Wi-Fi except if requires browser login

If WiFi requires you to login via a browser, it isn't disabled (common in public hotspots and guest networks), so you don't have to enter the password again.
