Hi-Fi cast is an audio player that lets you stream music seamlessly from Internet Radio stations, UPnP/DLNA multimedia servers or your smartphone to Chromecast enabled devices.

You can shuffle your entire music library, or any combination thereof. This is regardless of how large it may be. If you are using DLNA/UPnP, you will need a server capable of searching. Most servers do.

Chromecast Features

* Playback without gaps of MP3 FLAC, MP3 and WAV files on Chromecast devices. (Enable this feature in Settings > Chromecast).

* The transcoding of files not supported by Chromecast devices, eg. DSD ALAC.

UPnP/DLNA Features:

You can search your entire music collection quickly and efficiently, regardless of its size. To search for Albums Artists or Songs, you will need your UPnP/DLNA server.

* This is for music libraries with large and small collections. Scroll through hundreds of songs or albums at once. Your UPnP/DLNA media server's capabilities are the only limit.

* Searching capabilities with UPnP/DLNA servers

* Make local playlists

Minimserver can be used as your Media Server to access your album booklets.

* Supports playback of UPnP/DLNA renderings. This setting can reduce the gap between tracks if your renderer supports gapless.

Internet Radio Features:

Radio station playlists can be edited, imported and exported.

Chromcast Information*

Chromecast Audio devices can only play WAV files and FLAC files at 24bit/96kHz. Gapless compatible MP3s and AAC files are also available. Chromecast Video devices can only play gapless 16bit WAV files, FLAC and gapless compatible MP3 or AAC files. Chromecast gapless Chromecast playback requires that your phone/tablet remains connected to the network.

Volume normalization can only be done for FLAC files that contain ReplayGain tag. Volume normalization via the and'Originaland' Chromecast is limited to 16bit FLAC files .

* SHOUTcast radio must be supported when being played to an UPnP/DLNA media player.
