With the Gap Click app, anyone can easily practice his method with an easy-to-use application. Gap Click is a metronome that tells you the time, but not like other ones. Gap Click is focused on increasing your ability to maintain tempo. It uses offbeat clicks that make you more alert and comfortable. This makes it bulletproof and precise with every note of each subdivision.

GAP CLICK

Scrolling through the many bars and patterns will allow you to quickly set a gap in time during which the metronome stops. Will your playing be still in time when the "one" returns? What length of time can you keep your tempo steady despite a long gap?

MOVING CLICK

You can also experiment with different offbeat patterns using the Gap Bar, which changes the click's position from its downbeat to another location. You can still use your instrument while keeping the internal beat down, even if you hear the click sound in an offbeat location.

The "click" and "gap” portions support a wide variety of syncopated patterns, allowing you to practice binary orternary rhythms with more or lesser safety net depending upon your settings.
