Fidchell, also known as Faery Chess (or Celtic Chess), is an ancient celtic board game that was featured in numerous Irish chronicles and epics. It is also known as Gwyddbwyll and appears to have enjoyed a special reverence in all of the British Isles. Faery Chess was the result of Nigel Suckling's research and speculations regarding the mysterious game. The game uses a circular and line-shaped board on which the pieces can be placed. Like the old abstract game Nine Men''s Morris, pieces are placed on the board one at a time and then moved once they have all been placed. However, the capturing of pieces is different and works in a similar way to Tafl games. A piece can be captured when it's caught between two pieces of its own. He can even trap another piece with this move.

There are two versions of the app: one is the simple version, which can be understood by both players equally. The other is the more advanced edition that has different goals and serves to challenge both players. By connecting the stones along a line, the goal is to link the center Naval stone and the border of your board.
