If you're in a browser, you can share the page with another application. The system opens a URL (let's say, a video link), and you click it. Instead of viewing the native video, you're stuck on a page.

You have two options. Either you watch it on the internet or you can search for the video name in the app. No more.

OpenLinkWith allows you to share any page with it, and will prompt you for the applications that you want to use in order to link.

The original purpose of this application was to redirect web pages to applications, but it can also be used to switch between different apps. You might have two Twitter clients on your smartphone. Open a Twitter tweet from the official app and switch to another application with the same message. You're cool!

While the issue described above isn't too serious, it is evident that something is lacking in the Android ecosystem. This was the only thing I could find. Then I created one. 🙂

You can add the link to your home screen by using Add to Home Screen if you keep sharing the exact same URL over and over again.
