Coinoscope allows you to visually search for coins. Simply snap a photo of any coin using your smartphone camera, and the app will display a list with similar coins. To view additional information on the coin, click the icon. You can save search results to build your coin collection. To determine the value of coins, use Estimate Value. This tool is essential for any coin collector or numismatist.

Coinoscope utilizes artificial intelligence to evaluate similarity of coins.

Main Screen:

Before you take a photograph, center a coin.

To focus, tap on the image.

Zoom slider: To increase/decrease image size

You can use zoom to focus, change the lighting conditions and angle on your phone's camera to get a better image if you don't find any similar coins.

Results Screen:

Scroll down the list for descriptions and images of coin pictures

To find the estimated value of the coin, press Estimate Value>>

To view more information on your smartphone's web browser, tap the description or image.

To return from the browser to the app, press the back button

To return to the main screen, press the photo or arrow icons

To save search results, enter optional notes (#), and then press "Save>>".

Copy a description of the list by long-clicking in the note box

To search for coins similar to yours, press Find Similar>>

Value Estimation screen:

Specify the coin parameters (issue year for country nominal currency)

To find the estimated value of the coin, press Estimate Value>>

Scroll down the list for value estimates

My Collection Screen:

For a list of all coins, choose tab All>> or tab # Tag>> to see tagged coins.

Scroll down the list to see images and descriptions for saved searches results

Saved search results can be edited by clicking here

Saved search results can be deleted by long-clicking
