Many of you know that there have been significant changes in Android OS 9.0 and 10.0 update call recording capabilities. This affects all manufacturers. It has reduced our ability to record both sides of a call on Android 9.0. In many cases, only your voice is captured by default. Some devices may allow you to record both the audio and video sides of the call. This can be frustrating in private conversations. We have recently released an update which allows both the audio and the access permission for Total Recall to be captured by giving it permission at installation. However, the audio quality may not match that of previous OS versions.

We also have the ability to record both sides of the conversation on all major brands models. This feature is only available to users who are rooted. This new technology uses root to bypass this restriction. It is built on the Magisk systemless module that allows for direct access to both audio and text. In effect, systemless means no disk changes are made directly to the device’s /system directory. This method is preferred to prevent any irreversible changes to your device’s core. This module is also easily unloaded whenever you wish.
