Buoy — Pimp Your Battery Saver Mod Apk
This special technique has been stopped by Google in Android 12. Buoy can only be used with Android 11 The built-in Android battery saving mode is quite powerful, sorry. It is not configurable from the box, which is a disappointment. Buoy is the solution. Buoy allows you to use the battery-saving feature in almost any circumstance. It is possible to make small savings throughout the day, without affecting performance. It is possible to get every ounce of power from your device. It's possible to do anything between!
Buoy makes use of hidden Android settings in order to customize the battery saver. These toggles are available:
Advertise to other apps with low-power mode enabled
For metered data or mobile data connections, use Android's data saver
- Built-in Dark Mode
LaunchBoost to Accelerate App Starts
Vibration
- Activity animations and window display
Apps can now use SoundTrigger HAL
- Deferring full device backups for later
- Deferring app setting backups for later
Protect yourself against potentially malicious websites by using the web firewall
Apps can be restricted from accessing certain locations by changing their location mode
- Lowering panel brightness
All apps are to be put into Standby Mode
All apps must not access background data
Unnecessary sensors can be disabled
Use the Always-On Display
After the screen has turned off, put the device in deep sleep
The sticky low-power mode is also available with Buoy. Low power mode will be disabled if the device is unplugged and plugged in. To continue conserving battery, sticky mode will reapply low power mode after unplugging the device.
Note that this app requires the WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS permission that can be granted with EITHER a PC using ADB or root. Root is not required. It is an optional feature. Android 8.0 supports more features on Android 10.
The battery saver settings cannot be reset by uninstalling the application. To undo any changes Buoy made, you must click on the Reset button.
This project is FOSS in the sense that the source code is freely available at https://www.github.com/tytydraco/Buoy. You can compile it using Android Studio Canary. Although I can offer assistance, I am unable to help you build the app.
