OVERVIEWBluetooth/USB/TCP Bridge app enables communication between different types of communication technologies. This app works with your smartphone as a converter. This app connects to distant devices that cannot communicate with each other directly and creates a communication bridge between them, allowing them to exchange information. These connections currently support the following:

- Classic Bluetooth devices: Devices such as Bluetooth module (HC-05, HC-06), other smartphones with Bluetooth terminal PC (or any device that can open Bluetooth port) (serial profile/SPP). An app can create a listening port that remote Bluetooth devices may connect to.

-BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy)/Bo Bluetooth 4.0 Devices: Bluetooth devices like BLE Bluetooth Modules (HM-10 MLTBT05) and smart sensors (heartrate monitors thermostats ...)

TCP Server: App can make listening TCP sockets to allow you to connect TCP clients running on remote devices

TCP client: App can connect to listening TCP servers

The Bluetooth/USB/TCP Bridge app allows you to view all data received in text or log format. It is now possible to directly send data to your connected devices using the app (0x, text form).

CONNECTIONS

Connecting with SPP devices Click Connect/Listen to select the device from the list. Check that the other device is available to receive incoming connections. Remote device can be used to initiate connection. Long click on the Connect/Listen button to create a listening SPP port.

Connection to BLE Devices (only device A). The app will start scanning nearby BLE devices when the BLE device has been selected. Choose your device from the list. Automatically, characteristics and services will be retrieved. You can use one characteristic for transmission and receiving (one RxTx characteristic). Simply click the characteristic you wish to use.

USB device connection Your phone should support USB OTG. You may be able to detect multiple USB devices on your phone. In that instance, you can change the parameter USB# to determine which device is correct. The following parameters can be supported: Baud rate[bps] Data bits parity, stop bits flow control. Flow control can be used for CP2102 FTDI chips and CH34x chips.

Opening TCP Server - App can create listening TCP Server socket. It can be connected to remotely via TCP Client. You should ensure that your firewall permits such connections. This version supports one TCP client.

TCP Server App also has TCP clients that can be connected to TCP servers. You will need to provide the server IP address and port number. If you are connecting to a PC, make sure your firewall is properly configured.

Unsupported

Bluetooth headsets and speakers will not work with the app, as they have a different Bluetooth profile. They use neither SPP (serial port Profile) nor BLE ("Bluetooth low Energy") Bluetooth profiles.
