AUT - Auto USB Tether (ROOT REQUIRED) Mod Apk

The AUT – Auto USB Tether utility app activates the USB Tethering function when you connect to your computer/mac via an Usb cable.

After trying 10 other apps in the Play Store, none of them worked on my device. They were either too difficult to use or didn't work on my phone. The Android system does not support auto-activation for USB tethering so it is no surprise that these apps did not work. From a developer's perspective, it is complicated.

The AUT approach was a bit different. It used auto-detection to determine the parameters. Although it is not 100% guaranteed that the app will work on every device, there are more possibilities than apps using hardcoded parameters. It's worth a shot!

The AUT tool can show you the USB In/Out network traffic, and even hide any tethered traffic.

To run correctly, AUT needs a ROOT device.

Non-rooted devices can only use AUT to access the Tethering System Settings screen. You also have to check your USB network traffic.

AUT attempts to automatically detect the required parameters for running (they differ depending on Android Version and Vendor Model), but this is not always possible.

Please ensure that you have the following:

1. When you manually activate USB tethering from System Settings (although it might be necessary to install drivers on your computer), the USB connection is successful.

2. Your USB Tethering must be working again. The AUT automates the activation of your USB Tethering upon making a connection to your computer/mac via cable.

3. Your device is rooted;

4. Root permissions have been granted to AUT.

5. The AUT did not alert you that it could not auto-detect certain parameters.

6. In AUT, you have turned AUTO USB TETHER ON on

After you have checked all the boxes, connect the device to the computer/Mac using a USB cable.

If you experience failure, please email android@barbaro.it with details of your Android version and Vendor Model. You can also use the Auto-Report function within AUT (Menu>Send Report).

You can only download AUT from Google Play Store. It contains advertisements and allows for 25 USB tethering activations. After that, you'll need to purchase a license within the app (Menu>Buy license).

After you purchase a license, the ads disappear. You will no longer have any limitations on your usage.

Contribute to improving the AUT

To help your developer fix your model's AUT, you can submit a report if your device is experiencing problems with it.

1. You can manually activate USB Tethering using System Prefs

2. Return to AUT, and choose Menu-andgt.Send report.

3. You can send the email report generated.

You might be contacted by the developer to test a development version. If you are successful, you'll receive a promotional code that unlocks AUT.
