This app acts as a viewfinder for digital directors. It allows you to see exactly where your shot will be taken. To select the appropriate camera, click the button and turn the wheel.

Magic ViewFinder allows you to simulate using anamorphic or teleadapters on your camera. (See menu). You can choose the aspect ratio for the frame guide that overlays your image from the menu.

Magic ViewFinder allows you to apply color presets, also known as LUTs to live pictures. This brings you closer to your final shot.

Once you find the perfect view, you can save it with additional information such as the focal length tilt and date and roll time and the camera/lens information.

To better control the image, you can lock the exposure while taking the photo.

To keep images focussed, there's a steady middle-speed center-based automatic focus that is active at the beginning. You can also tap on the screen live to concentrate on specific objects. To return to continuous autofocus, long-click.

Magic ViewFinder will add 'padding' around an image if the real camera has a wider field of vision than the in-device one. This is because the device can not see beyond its range. This is our best solution, and Magic ViewFinder was copied by other viewfinder apps.

Note that the position of your Android phone corresponds with the "nodal" point of the real lens, which lies somewhere between the center and the edge of the lens. This is the center weighted of the optics.

Depth-OfField Tool: To check the depth of field, press the DOF icon. This will calculate the far and near limits of DOF and allow you to adjust the aperture or focus distance.
