Brevent black can prevent app-standby on Android 6.0 devices or force-stop applications without root from running for long periods of time. Brevent will automatically app-standby apps that are quit after they have been launched (by tapping Back or similar), or if the apps were in standby for too long or swiped from your recents screen. Brevent will stop apps that are not actively running.

Brevent can set apps to sync and receive sync notifications. Brevent will not allow sync apps to standby and Brevent can't force stop sync apps running in the background or with notifications.

Brevent is compatible with Android 6.0 and Android 11. This requires USB or Wireless debugging. (available in the developer options for Android 11).

Android 8 Brevent will not work if the USB option or debugging are turned off. Please change the USB option if debugging is disabled after you have unplugged your cable. It is normal to leave the default USB option.
